MICHELLE OUELLET
Michelle Ouellet is an award-winning director, editor, and digital content creator who splits her time between Toronto and Vancouver. Michelle's improvised feature film Afterparty which had its world premiere at WFF 2013 was the recipient of the William F. White Reel Indie Award at the Canadian Film Festival and was picked up for distribution by Mongrel Media after a successful festival run. These days you can catch Afterparty on TMN.
For the web, Michelle is the series director of the critically acclaimed series' The True Heroines and the IPF and TELUS Funded Paranormal Solutions Inc. and for her work was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award and won awards at The Leos, Vancouver WebFest, and LA Web Fest and was named as one of Playback Magazine’s 10-to-Watch. Michelle’s third feature film Prodigals starring Sara Canning and David Alpay is currently in theatres across Canada.

NICHOLAS CARELLA
Nicholas Carella is an award-winning actor, writer, producer and digital content creator who is relentless in his pursuit of exciting projects. In 2009, Nicholas was a double nominee at the Canadian Comedy Awards (Best Actor, Best Screenplay) for his feature film-writing debut, Hooked on Speedman, which is still enjoying a successful television run across the country. In 2011, Nicholas co-founded Sociable Films and in 2012 produced Sociable Film's flagship feature film, Afterparty, (distributed by Mongrel Media), for which he was nominated for the Leo Award for the Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film.
Nicholas has also made his mark in the ever growing realm of Digital Media, serving as head-writer and show-runner of the Canadian Screen Award nominated and Leo Award winning web-series, The True Heroines and is the co-creator (with David Milchard) of the IPF and Telus funded, Leo Award Nominated digital series, Paranormal Solutions Inc. PSI also marked Nicholas' directorial debut, having directed the Sasquatch/Human bromance "Sasquatch is your BC Bud".
Over the last fourteen years, Nicholas has been a busy actor whose favourite credits include CBS' Harper's Island along with Citizen Duane, The Kennedys and Wayward Pines. You may also recognize Nicholas from guest starring appearances on Motive, Fringe, Supernatural, Mistresses and V as well as numerous other prime-time dramas. Up next: the release of the Sociable Films & Whiskaye Films co-produced feature film Prodigals, which Nicholas wrote, produced and stars in as part of the phenomenal ensemble cast that includes David Alpay, Sara Canning, Kaniehtiio Horn & Brian Markinson as well as the continued development of the feature screenplay Us in 9 Months (written with Dave Deveau), which was the winner of the 2015 CFF Harold Greenberg Screen Writing Contest.

JOEL STURROCK
Joel Sturrock is an actor, dancer and award winning choreographer and producer. An alumnus of Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet Schooland the Canadian College of Performing Arts, he completed a choreography mentorship under Artistic Director Jacques Lemay (Artistic Director '88 Olympics & Creative Advisor 2011 Vancouver Olympics), and has since worked across North America and Europe as a performer, choreographer, dance consultant and movement coach.
Most recently he was the movement consultant for Start Trek: Beyond starring Idris Elba and Chris Pine and was recently honoured with the Significant Artistic Achievement Award for Outstanding Choreography and Movement Direction at the Jessie Awards for his work on the play Tender Napalm. Other projects include the Jessie Award winning Bombitty of Errors, Bravofact's The Dancing Cop (Official Selection TIFF 2012), MTV's Dancing with the Hosts partnering Jessi Cruikshank, Hey Ocean!'s Big Blue Wave music video, and feature films Afghan Luke, Afterparty (Indie Award, Canadian Film Fest), and the award winning festival favourite Eadweard.
Joel is no stranger to screen appearing on such hit TV shows as CW's Supernatural, Hellcats, MTV LIVE, Rush and Rogue and feature films Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Cinemanovels (TIFF Official Selection 13’) with motion capture roles in Night in The Museum 3, Warcraft and Monster Trucks.
He has performed on stages across North America including Rosie Odonnel's Our Family Cruise onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines, Tony Award nominee Johnny Tartaglia's 'Ad-Liberty', Beauty & The Beast (Arts Club), The Shape of Things (20Something Theatre), MOVE: The Company and most recently a North American tour of The Nutcracker Suite partnering Kirov Academy member, T.J. Milne.
He co-created, choreographed and production designed the award winning 'The True Heroines' web series (now streaming on Hulu Plus) being named 'What to Watch' in USA Today.
Joel is also a sought after instructor and adjudicator across Canada. A guest faculty member of the Vancouver Film School, Canadian Dance Teachers Association, The Canadian College of Performing Arts, McIlroy & Associates and The Vancouver Acting School.
